INTERSPIRITUAL MENTOR TRAINING PROGRAM
Earlier this year, Kathy Gracenin got her wish to meet and work with Joan Borysenko at an all-day retreat at the Clarion Hotel in Clarion, Pa. Gracenin is enrolled at Borysenko's Claritas Institute in Boulder, Colo., to become certified in Interspiritual Mentoring.
"This is a brand new program that just started this August." Gracenin said. "There are 64 of us, and we will attend the Institute three more times. We also have additional assignments to complete on our own. When our training is complete we will become Interspiritual Directors, each bringing the program to our own area. The program itself carries on the work of Brother Wayne Teasdale, encompassing all religions and studies the common thread that connects us all."
Gracenin will continue her present work, but will add this new facet. She also said that there has been such an overwhelming response to the program, the there is a possibility another group will be forming soon,
