Ron Martin of Struthers aced the No. 5 hole on the South Course at Mill Creek Golf Course. He used a 9-iron on the 124 yard hole and the shot was witnessed by Frank Tobias and Felix Pizzola.Dr. Gregory Iaderosa made a hole in one at Tippecanoe Country Club on the No. 16 hole. He used a pitching wedge on the 127-yard hole. Witnesses were Dr. Charles Yourstowsky, Dr. Patrick Haggerty and Dr. John Holzbach.Harry Mays of Boardman aced the No. 2 hole at Reserve Run Golf Course. He used a 7-iron on the 150-yard hole and the witnesses were Ed Spiezio, Nick Milasnovich and Tom Garasic.Mike Elenz of Columbiana made a hole-in-one on the No. 4 hole at Reserve Run Golf Course. He hit a 9-iron on the 145-yard hole. It was witnessed by Bruce Raber, Jim Behmer and John Migliozzi.Drew Cleary of Niles aced the 156 yard, No. 11 hole with an 8 iron at Candywood. The shot was witnessed by Joe Razzano, Sean Cleary and Mike Sergi.Paul Rovnak of Poland had his second career hole-in-one on the 170-yard, No. 17 hole at the Links at Firestone Farms with a 5-iron. Witnesses were Dan Shurilla, Bill Hewitson and Wade Jones.John Rafoth made a hole-in-one on the No. 16 hole at Tippecanoe Country Club. He used a pitching wedge on the 119-yard hole and it was witnessed by John Elias, Greg Carney and Robert Stevens.Jeremy Ifft of Hubbard aced the 130-yard No. 5 hole using a 9-iron at Donnybrook Golf Course. Witnesses were Jerry Ifft, Eddie Pompelli and Tom Miokovic.Dave Gurska of Hermitage, Pa., made a hole-in-one at Doughton Golf Course in Hubbard. He used a 8-iron on the No. 9 hole, 157 yards.Jeremy Morris, 16-year-old Niles High golf team member, aced the 13th hole at Lakeside Golf Course. He hit a 8-iron on the 166-yard hole. It was witnessed by teammates Justin Morrison, Bill Eddy and Ron Aulet.Janet Armstrong of Columbiana aced the No. 8 hole at Salem Hills Golf Club. She used a 3-wood on the 140 yard hole for her first ace. Witnesses were Mary Jane Walker and Judith Herbick.
