The school accepts no federal funding.
GROVE CITY, Pa. -- U.S. News & amp; World Report has ranked Grove City College the No. 1 "Best Value" in its category for the 2006 guide.
This year marks the fourth year in a row that Grove City has been named in the top spot.
Grove City was also ranked No. 3 overall in "America's Best Colleges" among northern comprehensive colleges, climbing two spots from the 2005 ranking of No. 5.
"Excellence has always been a hallmark of Grove City College," said College President Dr. Richard G. Jewell, Class of '67.
"We are especially thankful and humbled by the fact that others are recognizing the top-notch students and faculty we have at Grove City and how we work to consistently be one of the best educational institutions year after year."

The newsstand book, "America's Best Colleges," as well as the Aug. 29 edition of U.S. News & amp; World Report containing the rankings, will hit newsstands this Monday. Some results are available for viewing now at www.usnews.com.
Each fall, U.S. News also ranks universities, master's universities, business programs, undergraduate engineering programs, debt load and campus diversity, among other areas of education and student life.
Grove City College is listed as one of the most competitive colleges in the nation by Barron's. In its category, Grove City College is also ranked by U.S. News & amp; World Report as No. 1 Best Value and No. 3 overall in the 2006 guide to America's Best Colleges.
Founded in 1876 Grove City College, has an enrollment of 2,300 students. It is a private Christian college teaching the liberal arts, sciences and engineering. It is an advocate of the free market economic system and accepts no federal funding. Tuition is about half of the national average for private colleges.
