Chris Frank, 31, of Boardman, scored his first hole-in-one at Pine Grove Golf Course in Grove City, Pa. He used a pitching wedge on the 115-yard No. 17 hole. Witnesses were Adam Leskanic of Grove City and Frank Pugliese of Austintown.
Ross Mellinger of Leetonia aced the No. 9 hole at Copeland Hills Golf Course in Columbiana. He used a 6-iron on the 140 yard hole. The shot was witnessed by Marjorie Mellinger.
Rick Mollenkopf of New Middletown scored a hole-in-one on the No. 11 hole at Firestone Farms Golf Course in Columbiana. He used a 7-iron on the 142-yard hole. It was witnessed by Jack Green, Lee Grable, and Gilbert Bellan.
Dennis Martin of Struthers aced the No. 5 hole on the South Course at Mill Creek Golf Course. He used a 9-iron on the 122 yard hole. Witnesses were Frank Tobias and Felix Pizzola.
Barb Wollitz made a hole in one at Deer Creek Golf Course in Hubbard on the No. 15 hole, 131 yards, using a 7-iron. It was witnessed by her husband Jack Wollitz..
