XLAKE MILTON -- The 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. John Davidson, 457 Roselawn St., was celebrated during a dinner party that took place July 24 at the Canfield home of their daughter and son-in-law, Amy Davidson and Jim Constas.
Also serving as host for the event was their son, John Davidson III of Lake Milton.
Honterus Lutheran Church in Youngstown was the setting July 9, 1955, as Mr. Davidson and the former Jean Nemenz were united in marriage.
Mrs. Davidson was employed in the payroll department of Isaly Dairy and retired in 1991 from Hynes Steel in Youngstown, where she worked in accounts receivable. She is a member of Sweetbriar Garden Club and Friends of Austintown Library.
Mr. Davidson served with the 11th Airborne Division in the Pacific Theater of Operations during World War II. He was an attorney in Youngstown prior to retiring in 1997 and is a past president of Austintown Optimist Club. Both are members of Grace Lutheran Church and the Saxon Club.
The couple have one grandson.
