Preschools host open house tours this week

BOARDMAN -- Lads 'n' Lasses Academy and Wee Care Day Care and Learning Centre will host open houses and tours this week.
Lads 'n' Lasses, 22 McClurg Road, will host an open house from 6 to 8 tonight, and Wee Care, 801 Kentwood Drive, will host an open house form 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
The open houses will include Bruster's Ice Cream, appearances by Hi-Pockets the Clown and Stilts the Clown. There also will be fingerprinting and DNA kits for children.
The schools both offer flexible scheduling and an educationally-based preschool curriculum.
Both schools offer discounts to Youngstown State University students, faculty and active alumni. There are also discounts for Humility of Mary Health Partners.
