Man sentenced 3 years for shooting
YOUNGSTOWN -- A Campbell man received a six-year sentence Tuesday for his involvement in a 1999 shooting death. Judge Jack M. Durkin sentenced Tiangelo Stores, 25, to three years in prison on a voluntary manslaughter charge and another three years on a gun charge.
He will be on parole for up to five years after his release. The sentences are to run consecutively. Stores has been in prison since 2001 on an unrelated drug charge. Stores pleaded guilty for his involvement in the July 10, 1999, drive-by shooting on West Glenaven Avenue that left 25-year-old Sylvester Patterson dead and two other men injured.
Stores was in the car when the shooting happened but didn't harm anybody, said his attorney, John Dixon.
