Man assaulted, his wallet and car stolen
YOUNGSTOWN -- A Hubbard man who had gone to visit a friend Monday afternoon on Woodcrest Avenue on the East Side told police that after he parked his car he was struck in the head with the butt of a gun by a man wearing a black bandanna.
The suspect took the 47-year-old victim's wallet and car, reports show.
The Hubbard man said he was told to "start walking and don't look back or else you will get popped."
He and the friend he was visiting said they saw the gunman and another man get into the car, a 1988 Oldsmobile, and drive off.
