Aug. 11
Arrest: Police picked up a 22-year-old Boardman man near state Route 616 on charges of criminal trespass and public indecency. Police say he was at Poland Cemetery, 110 Riverside Drive, despite being warned to stay off the property, and a woman alleged he exposed himself to her at the site.
Arrests: After pulling over a car near Diana Drive and U.S. Route 224 for running a stop sign, officers arrested two 17-year-old Poland boys. Charges included possession of alcohol, alcohol consumption in a motor vehicle and possession or consumption of alcohol. Police say they saw one of the boys toss an open can of beer from a window.

Aug. 11
Criminal damaging: A worker at the Boardman Public Library, 7680 Glenwood Ave., noticed three handicapped-parking signs were damaged.
Drugs: Officers arrested a Youngstown man, 47, near Shady Run Road and Midlothian Boulevard during a traffic stop. Charges against him were possession of drugs, a felony, possession of drug-abuse instruments, possession of drug paraphernalia and having fictitious license plates, all misdemeanors.
Breaking and entering: Someone broke into a Shell True North gas station, 7598 Market St.
Theft: A customer left Giant Eagle, 476 Boardman-Canfield Road, without paying for three packs of cigarettes.
Theft/forgery: Someone used a stolen check to pay for merchandise at Kaufmann's in the Southern Park Mall.
Theft: Medication was stolen from Greenbriar Healthcare Center, 8064 South Ave.
Theft: A pair of tennis shoes was stolen from the J.C. Penney store in the Southern Park Mall.
Assault: A man told officers he was assaulted in the Salty Grog's parking lot, 1203 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: Someone stole cologne from Sears in the Southern Park Mall.
Aggravated menacing: An Indian Trail man called police after someone threatened his life.
Theft: A woman discovered someone stole medications from her mother while they were at Chuck E. Cheese's, 521 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: A man returned to his vehicle at Giant Eagle, 1201 Doral Drive, and found that items were missing.
Theft: A worker at a Speedway station, 649 E. Midlothian Blvd., reported the theft of gasoline.
Arrest: Boardman police apprehended a 23-year-old Niles man at the Ground Round, 7463 South Ave. He was wanted on a federal warrant from the U.S. Marshals Service charging him with the distribution of cocaine.

Assault: A woman in the 6000 block of Applecrest Court told police she was punched in the back of the head.
Forgery: A man reported an insurance policy was fraudulently cashed by another person at Seven Seventeen Credit Union, 7371 California Ave.
Thefts: Two people in the 300 block of Mathews Road discovered bicycles stolen from the rear of their homes.
Drugs: Boardman police arrested a 24-year-old North Lima man. He was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.
Arrest: A Boardman man, 28, was charged with one count of child endangering.
Arrests: In unrelated cases, police made four arrests: an 18-year-old Boardman man on a domestic-violence charge; two 36-year-old Youngstown women on theft charges; and a Struthers man, 25, who was charged with operating a vehicle under the influence.

Burglary: A man in the 7400 block of Glenwood Avenue discovered his residence was broken into and property stolen.
Auto theft: A man reported the theft of his vehicle while he was at a Speedway gas station, 649 E. Midlothian Blvd.
Auto theft: A woman in the 4000 block of Glenwood Avenue reported her car, with a broken door lock, stolen.
Criminal damaging: A man told police someone shot a passenger-side extension cab window on his truck, possibly with a paintball gun, while he was in the 100 block of Withers Drive.
Theft: Someone took a luggage set from Kmart, 1209 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: A customer concealed two pieces of women's clothing while at Kaufmann's in the Southern Park Mall.
Theft: Two Struthers men, 18 and 19, faced theft charges after someone took DVDs from Wal-Mart.
Assault: A worker at Boardman Acura, 883 Boardman-Canfield Road, told officers she was assaulted at work.
Theft: A driver pumped $32 worth of gasoline and left a BP station, 310 Boardman-Canfield road, without paying.
Theft: A motorist drove away from a Shell True North station, 1510 Boardman-Canfield Road, and failed to pay for $48 worth of gasoline.
Drugs: After pulling over a vehicle in the township, police arrested a 24-year-old North Lima man on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of drugs (marijuana). Officers say he had a bag of suspected marijuana in the car.
Drugs: While conducting a traffic stop, officers took into custody a Youngstown man, 21, on a felony count of trafficking in drugs. Police say they discovered an envelope with suspected crack cocaine on top of a pizza box the suspect handed to a relative in the car, and that the man admitted he had additional suspected crack cocaine under a headband he was wearing.

Theft: An employee at the Springfield Grille, 7413 Tiffany Blvd., noticed money missing from her wallet while at work.
Breaking and entering: A 27-year-old Boardman man faced a breaking-and-entering charge after a worker at an apartment in the 7200 block of Ron Joy Place found out a break-in occurred and said he discovered someone lying down inside.
Theft: A woman reported her purse was stolen from a shopping cart while she was at Sam's Club, 6361 South Ave.
Theft: A Warren man, 47, and a Youngstown woman, 52, were arrested on theft charges. The two were accused of deceptively trying to return an item that had been stolen from Wal-Mart, 1300 Doral Drive.
Misuse of a credit card: Police arrested a 41-year-old Youngstown woman on five counts each of forgery and misuse of a credit card and one count each of receiving stolen property and obstructing official business. She was accused of using a stolen credit card to make five purchases at Kaufmann's.
Theft: A woman in the 1900 block of Mathews Road noticed the outside rearview mirrors stolen off her car.
Theft: A woman reported the theft of money while she was at Ron Joy Nursing Home, 830 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Criminal damaging: A man reported a slashed tire and paint damage to his car while he was in the 1300 block of Boardman-Poland Road.
