CANFIELD
Aug. 7
Drug abuse: Police arrested a 35-year-old Youngstown man on a charge of drug abuse after police found a small bag of suspected marijuana and a remnants of suspected marijuana residue in his car at Herbert Road and Blueberry Hill Drive.
Aug. 8
Identity theft: A Lisbon Street man had been contacted by his bank that $1,100 in suspected fraudulent withdrawals had been taken from his account with his ATM card.
Aug. 9
Drug paraphernalia: Police arrested an 18-year-old Canfield man for possession of drug paraphernalia after police found a yellow pipe with suspected marijuana residue in it.
Aug. 12
Arrest: Police arrested a 23-year-old Youngstown man and a 20-year-old Canfield man when police found the pair walking on the bike trail after it closed. The Youngstown man was arrested on charges of drug abuse, obtaining and possessing, use of drug paraphernalia, possession of criminal tools and criminal trespass. Police seized a pair of white gloves, a small pocket flashlight, a small bag of suspected marijuana and roller paper. The Canfield man was charged with possessing criminal tools and criminal trespass. An orange and black screwdriver and a small pocket flashlight were found on him.

Aug. 8
Theft: A cell phone was taken from a vehicle in the 200 block of Aldrich Drive.
Theft: A CD player and speakers were stolen from a vehicle in the 4000 block of Pembrook Road.
Criminal damage: Damage to a vehicle was reported at True 2 Form, 5461 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A riding mower and trailer were stolen from the 400 block of Kirk Road.
Theft: Someone stole vinyl trim off a building from Lynn Kirk School, 4211 Evelyn Road.
Breaking and entering: A Samsung digital camera was stolen from the Home Depot, 6100 Mahoning Ave.
Recovered property: Two bullets were recovered from the 3000 block of Kirk Road.
Auto theft: A gray, four-door Pontiac Grand Prix was stolen from Sheetz gas station, 5499 Mahoning Avenue.
Aug. 9
Drug abuse: Police arrested an Austintown for drug abuse of marijuana at Mahoning Avenue and Beverly Avenue.
Burglary: Entry was gained through a ground-level window and a television and DVD player was taken at an apartment in the 4000 block of Pembrook Road.
Theft: CDs and a wallet were taken from a vehicle parked in the lot at 1000 Laurie Drive.
Aggravated robbery: A victim was struck in the head with a handgun and robbed in the 4000 block of Kirk Road.
Theft: A bicycle was stolen from Taco Bell, 4523 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damage: A trailer window as broken at Lynn Kirk Elementary School.
Auto theft: A 1991 Lincoln was stolen from the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.
Theft: Walkie-talkies and field glasses were taken from a vehicle in the 200 block of DeHoff Drive.
Aug. 10
Theft: Police arrested a 16-year-old boy for stealing merchandise from Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damage: A vehicle was damaged in the 1000 block of Paisley Street.
Counterfeit currency: A fake $50 bill was passed at The Babylon, 114 Javit Court.
Drug abuse: Police arrested a Youngstown man on two counts of possession of dangerous drugs and a second Youngstown man for possession of drug paraphernalia at Interstate 80 and Interstate 680.
Criminal damage: A vehicle was damaged in the 1000 block of Compass West apartments.
Criminal damage: A glass door was damaged at Charley's, 4455 Kirk Road.
Criminal damage: Damage to sign at a residence was reported in the 6000 block of Fox Crossing.
Theft: A man was arrested for theft at Sheetz gas station, 5499 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A registration sticker was stolen from a vehicle in the 1000 block of South Raccoon Road.
Criminal damage: A vehicle window was broken in the 1200 block of Woodhurst Drive.
Aug. 12
Theft: A CD player was stolen from a vehicle at Main Steel, 3805 Henricks Road.
Drug abuse: Police charged a Canfield man with complicity to commit theft and possession of drug paraphernalia, a crack pipe, and arrested a Youngstown man for theft and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said the Youngstown man stole various items of merchandise from the TA Travel Center, State Route 46 and Seventy-Six Drive.
Theft: A phone was taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 1000 block of Northfield Drive.
Breaking and entering: A total of 61,000 pounds of stainless steel was stolen from Main Steel, 3805 Henricks Road.
Criminal damage: A windshield was cracked by a rock in the 4000 block of Deer Creek Drive.
Aug. 13
Drug abuse: Police arrested an Austintown woman in the 2000 block of South Raccoon Road on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and drug abuse of cocaine.
Criminal damage: A homemade bomb was found in the front yard and exploded in the 2000 block of Frostwood Drive.
Lost or stolen wallet: A wallet with money, identification and a driver's license reported lost or stolen at Wal-Mart.
Breaking and entering: A modular classroom was broken into at Lynn Kirk Elementary School.
Aug. 14
Drug abuse: Police arrested a Youngstown man for possession of drug paraphernalia at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damage: Tires were damaged in the 300 block of Henricks Road.
Criminal damage: Two tires were slashed on a vehicle parked in the 600 block of Wyndclift Circle.
Criminal damage: Vehicles were damaged in the 3000 block of Oakwood Avenue.
Burglary: A computer was taken from the 1000 block of North Meridian Road.
