Guest speaker planned
CAMPBELL -- The Rev. Raymond E. Kirkland will be the guest speaker at 11 a.m. Sunday at Greater Liberty Baptist Church, 66 10th St.
The Rev. Mr. Kirkland, formerly of Youngstown, lives in Sacramento, Calif., and is the grandson of the late Walter and Juanita Bobo. The Rev. Olton Johnson is the church's pastor. For more information, call Dolores Croft at (330) 783-1059.
Men of Valor workshop
YOUNGSTOWN -- Union Baptist Church, 528 Lincoln Ave., will present its annual Men of Valor workshop, which will be held in the Family Life Center of the church, at 10 a.m. next Saturday.
On Aug. 21, at the 10:45 a.m. worship service, the men will celebrate their day of victory. Guest preacher for this day will be Pastor T.J. Thomas of the Mount Zion Baptist Church in Toledo.
Representing EQUIP
GIRARD -- Steve Miller of Girard is in Jakarta, Indonesia, to train leaders of faith and integrity in all walks of life. He is traveling as a representative of EQUIP, a ministry that is mobilizing America's leaders to use their personal time to train the next generation of leaders around the world.
When not traveling the world, Miller serves as CEO at Millwood Inc. in Girard.

Gospel concert planned
YOUNGSTOWN -- Mount Sinai Baptist Church, 328 S. Forest St., will hold a gospel concert 5 p.m. next Saturday.
The concert will feature the Spiritual Angels of Youngstown and other groups. For more information, call (330) 743-6061.
Lost and Found concert
PETERSBURG -- St. John Lutheran Church, 14394 Youngstown-Pittsburgh Road, will present a concert featuring the Christian music duo, Lost and Found, at 7 p.m. Aug. 20 at Springfield Local High School Stadium, 13335 Youngstown-Pittsburgh Road in New Middletown.
Lost and Found combines the musical talents of Michael Bridges and George Baum, who have been performing together since 1986. Michael plays the guitar and George plays the piano. They call their music "Speedwood," a style they invented and named. The duo's song "Lions" won grand prize in the John Lennon International Songwriting Contest in 1999.

Open air street meeting
FARRELL, Pa. -- The Apostolic Proclaimer's of the Truth Evangelistic Ministry of New and Living Way, at the corner of Idaho and Spearman avenues, will be hosting its 4th Annual Open Air Street Meeting, at 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The theme is "Let Us Go Out Into The Highways And Hedges And Compel Them To Come!" Guest speaker will be Dr. James A. Daniels, pastor of Eastend Church of God, San Antonio, Texas, originally from the Mercer County area. Host pastor will be Bishop Alvin J. McCoy.
