Burglary suspect sought
BOARDMAN -- Township police are asking for help from the public in identifying a man whose image was captured on a surveillance camera in the Medicine Shoppe, 6241 Market St.
The business was broken into on March 17 and April 9 and drugs were reported stolen. The surveillance images were taken during the April 9 break-in.

Break-ins reported
YOUNGSTOWN -- The latest downtown break-in took place at the Youngstown Area Community Center, 101 E. Federal Plaza.
A side door had pry marks on it and a hallway door to an office was discovered smashed Tuesday morning. Drawers were opened but nothing appeared to be missing pending an inventory. An empty potato chip bag found on the floor was taken for fingerprinting.
Several break-ins to downtown businesses have occurred in the past week or so. A law office on East Boardman was entered at least twice, and USA Parking on South Champion Street was entered and the safe taken.
Masked men rob bar
YOUNGSTOWN -- Two masked men, one of them armed, burst into the Palm Cafe on Steel Street about 10 p.m. Tuesday and ordered patrons to get on the floor.
One pulled out a large handgun and told the owner to open the cash register, reports show.
The owner turned over cash to the gunman, who then fled with his accomplice.
2 West Side break-ins
YOUNGSTOWN -- Break-ins were discovered at two West Side businesses Tuesday morning.
At the Pet Food Center, 1264 S. Schenley Ave., entry was gained either through rear loading doors, which were found open, or through the front door, where the lock was damaged, police said. Cash was taken from the register and coins from a jar on the counter, reports show.
At the Hunan Express, 1810 Mahoning Ave., a window was broken to gain entry. Fifty pounds of frozen shrimp were taken, along with money from a cash box and the register, reports show.
Parade deadline is Friday
YOUNGSTOWN -- Friday is the last day to apply to have a unit in the Unity in the Community Parade sponsored by Warriors Inc., spokeswoman Wendy Robinson said.
The parade will be on the South Side on May 14.

Drug bust nets woman
NILES -- Niles Narcotics Unit investigators searched a Royal Mall Drive residence and arrested a woman after a five-month drug probe.
Latasha Schrecengost is charged with two felony counts of aggravated drug trafficking, one misdemeanor count of endangering children, and one misdemeanor count of drug abuse/drug paraphernalia, police said.
Investigators at 4 p.m. Monday used a search warrant and seized money, marijuana, cocaine and drug paraphernalia from inside the home, 167 Royal Mall Drive.
Elmhurst Plaza sold
WARREN -- Elmhurst Plaza at 3800 Elm Road has been bought at a Trumbull County sheriff's sale by Wells Fargo Bank, which had filed for foreclosure on the property in September 2003.
The plaza, which once had a Phar-Mor store as its main tenant, was owned by Elmhurst Plaza 1989 Limited Partnership and is appraised at $1.5 million, the county auditor's office shows.
Wells Fargo bought it Tuesday for $1.15 million.
Suit seeks police files
WARREN -- Warren faces a lawsuit in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court from a lawyer seeking records on police department policies and procedures.
Atty. Gilbert Rucker III says the records he wants regarding civil cases, lawsuits and staff discipline have not been made available.
The city says that it is not required to create lists for Rucker that do not already exist as part of the public record, and that records that are available can be reproduced at 10 cents per page.
