First place ($250) - "In Time," by Adetoro Makinde of Hollywood, Calif.
Second place ($150) - "The Passage of Mrs. Calabash," by Scott Tuft of Los Angeles.
Third Place ($100) - "Twitch," by Leah Meyerhoff of Brooklyn, N.Y.
Honorable Mention - "Sunday, In August," by Marc Meyer of Berlin, Germany.
Honorable Mention - "The Act," by Pi Ware and Susan Kraker of Los Angeles.
Films were judged on outstanding vision, photography, sound, creativity and narration.
Judges were: Dr. William Covey who teaches Film Analysis, Writing for Electronic Media and Film, and Cinematic Review at Slippery Rock University's English Department; Joe Morrison, operations director at Pittsburgh Filmmakers; and Dr. John Nichols, director of Film Studies at Christopher Newport University in Virginia.
