CANFIELD
April 15
Narcotics: A 21-year-old North Benton man was arrested on West Main Street and charged with drug abuse, obtaining and possession after police found 60 diazepam pills (valium) and 42 ativans. The man was a passenger in a vehicle stopped on a traffic violation.
April 16
Drug abuse: A 17-year-old Canfield youth was arrested on a traffic violation and charged with drug abuse, obtaining and possession after police found a plastic bottle containing 46 Viocodin in the center console of his car.
April 17
Drug paraphernalia: A 19-year-old Minerva man was arrested on charges of drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia after police found two boxes of blunt cigarettes, one rolled joint, a packet of roller papers and a large silver knife in a black sheath.

April 11
Disorderly conduct: A man was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge at North Meridian and LeHarps roads.
Drug offense: A Girard woman was charged with possession of marijuana at Kirk and Raccoon roads.
Disorderly conduct: A woman was placed in county jail on a charge of disorderly conduct at New Road and state Route 46.
Breaking and entering: A woman was placed in county jail after stealing an Austintown police car from the township garage, 66 Ohltown Road. The cruiser was later recovered.
Theft: A 9-inch Magnavox television and DVDs were stolen by a man from the TA Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive.
Kidnapping: A victim was kidnapped by two brothers and a third suspect at the EconoLodge, 5431 Seventy-Six Drive.
Theft: Car keys were stolen from the Austintown Library, 600 S. Raccoon Road.
Theft: A gasoline drive-off was at True North, 1704 S. Raccoon Road.
April 12
Theft: $10 worth of gasoline was stolen from Sheetz gas station, 5499 Mahoning Ave.
Burglary: $340 in cash was stolen from a residence in the 300 block of Ayrshire Drive.
Disorderly Conduct: A man was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge in the 100 block of Idaho Road.
Criminal trespass: A man was placed in county jail after being charged with trespassing at Club 76, 5535 Seventy-Six Drive.
April 13
Criminal damaging: A vehicle tire was cut at Rack's, 4213 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged in the 3000 block of Canfield Road.
Auto theft: A green 2000 Dodge Dakota, which was pulling a trailer, was stolen from Motel 6, 5431 Seventy-Six Drive.
Theft: A log splitter was taken from a residence in the 3000 block of Hendricks Road.
Breaking and entering: A trailer was entered and a computer, shirt press and inventory taken at Uncle Bob's, 3690 LeHarps Road.
Breaking and entering: A door was damaged on a garage but no items were taken in the 1000 block of Bexley Drive.
April 14
Theft: Gasoline was stolen from McQuaid's, 702 N. Meridian Road.
Criminal mischief: A property marker was taken in the 3000 block of Riblett Road.
Burglary: There were no signs of forced entry after a break-in in the 60 block of North Four Mile Run Road.
Theft from auto: A compact disc player, amplifier and speakers were stolen from a vehicle at Product Action, 400 Victoria Road.
Theft from auto: An Ohio license plate was stolen from a vehicle at Fitch High School, 4560 Falcon Drive.
April 16
Theft from auto: A compact disc player was taken from a vehicle at Regal Cinema, 6020 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A trampoline located in the 1000 block of Bexley Drive was stolen.
Theft from auto: Fishing equipment was stolen from a residence in the 4000 block of New Road.
Theft: A MP3 and Compaq Pocket PC were discovered missing after a party at an apartment in the 400 block of South Raccoon Road.
Weapons offense: A Youngstown man was arrested on a charge of drug abuse of marijuana and a woman from Youngstown was arrested on a charge of carrying a concealed weapon, a handgun, at Mahoning Avenue at Meridian Road.
Burglary: Cash and pills were taken from Fox Run, 1190 North Meridian Road.
Auto theft: A 1994 Pontiac Sunbird was stolen from King Kar Motors, 4120 Mahoning Ave.
April 17
Drug offense: An Austintown man was placed in county jail on a charge of drug abuse cocaine, drug paraphernalia and permitting drug abuse in a motor vehicle after being arrested at Kirk and Raccoon roads.
Drug offense: A Hartville, Ohio, woman was arrested on a charge of illegal assembly, possessing chemicals for manufacture of drugs, and an Akron woman was charged with the same offense and for possession of drug paraphernalia. Both suspects were placed in county jail after being arrested at state Route 46 and Interstate 80.
Tampering with vending machine: A washing machine coin box was damaged at Simco Management, 2230 S. Raccoon Road.
Attempted burglary: A window screen was pried open at a residence in the 1000 block of Bexley Drive.
Theft: $22 in gasoline was stolen from BP gas station, 3602 Mahoning Ave.
Burglary: $300 in bills and coins was stolen from an apartment in the 100 block of Maplecrest Drive.
Theft from auto: A wallet was stolen from Rebel 38, 5335 Seventy-Six Drive.
Theft: A package was stolen from a front porch in the 2000 block of Collingwood Place.
Burglary: Lawn equipment was stolen from a residence in the 100 block of South Raccoon Road.
