Fitch, Boardman earn Federal wins

Poland and Howland won MAC contests.
CANTON -- Charlie Olenych had three hits and one RBI Tuesday as the Fitch High baseball team defeated Canton McKinley, 6-4.
John Mang added two hits and scored twice to lead the Falcons in the Federal League game.
Mo Hassen added a triple and Alex Oles (3-0) picked up the win for the Falcons (6-2, 2-0).
Boardman 11, Mass. Perry 1
MASSILLON -- Armani Johnson and Mike Baharis combined for a one-hitter in six innings for the Spartans.
Kevin Sikora and Chris Tremblay each had two hits for the Spartans (5-5, 1-2), who scored nine runs in the fourth inning. Nate Tacsik had three RBIs.
Perry is 3-2, 0-2.
Poland 11, Niles 2
POLAND -- Adam Wigley pitched a one-hitter over six innings and Paul Hay threw a scoreless seventh as Poland rolled.
Tom Clayton had two hits and drove in three runs for the Bulldogs (3-1 Metro Athletic Conference). Joe Renard and Marc Turnbull also had two hits while Joe Petrolla added a double.
Ben Wilson had the only hit for Niles (7-3, 3-2) a double.
Howland 6, Struthers 2
HOWLAND -- The Tigers continued unbeaten, pulling ahead with a five-run surge in the bottom of the fifth inning.
Jake Kakavros hit two doubles, single and scored twice for the Tigers (6-0, 2-0 MAC). Tony Pozega hit a double and single.
Mooney 8, Springfield 1
NEW MIDDLETOWN -- Joe Irwin and Josh Moffie combined to scatter four hits for the Cardinals. In six innings, Irwin struck out 12 batters and walked.
For Springfield (6-3), Melio Rios' three hits included a triple.
Ursuline 18, Lisbon 0
STRUTHERS -- Matt Yarab and Ryan Satterlee each had two hits, two RBIs and scored twice for the Irish.
Ross Revella added two hits and two runs, Rick Malleske had three RBIs and Andy Kopper had two RBIs for the Irish.
Lucas Rambo had a double for the Blue Devils.
Western Reserve 8, East Palestine 0
EAST PALESTINE -- Sophomore Jerad Barker, making only his second varsity start, tossed a one-hit shutout for Western Reserve against East Palestine.
Barker (1-0) had five strikeouts while Brock Christie had two hits including a triple and drove in two runs. Brandon Moherman also added three singles for the winners (8-2).
Marlington 4, West Branch 3
ALLIANCE -- Marlington broke a 3-3 tie with a run in the fifth inning and held on to beat West Branch.
Mike Yost went the distance and allowed just three hits to get the win, while Mike Stanek and Chad Sirilla each had two hits for the winners (4-3).
Steve McNeely had two of the three hits for West Branch (4-4).
Lowellville 4, Wilson 1
LOWELLVILLE -- The Rockets snapped a seven-game losing streak in winning for the first time this season.
Vince Simon scattered five hits and struck out 11 to pick up the win. Justin Rodriguez hit two singles and drove in two runs.
The Redmen lost for the eighth straight time.
Campbell 15, Girard 5
CAMPBELL -- The Red Devils (4-3) scored all of their runs in three innings as they got five in the first, five in the second and five in the fourth.
Winning pitcher Lonnie McQueen (2-1) went 3-for-3 and drove in a run. Frazier Trikios went 3-for-4 drove in two runs and scored three times. The Indians fell to 3-6.
