A summary of recent criminal activity in Canfield City:
CANFIELD
April 3
Drug paraphernalia: A 22-year-old Akron woman was arrested on two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia at West Main Street and the Bike Trail after police found plastic straws with cocaine residue, a smoke pipe with suspected marijuana residue, a pack of rolling papers and a marijuana leaf hemostat with a burnt tip.
April 4
Possession of marijuana: A 19-year-old Canfield man was charged with drug abuse, obtaining, possession and use after police found a bag of suspected marijuana under the driver's seat of his car.
Theft: A 14-carat gold wedding band containing several diamonds valued at $7,000 and a bank credit/debit card were reported stolen from the bedroom of a residence in the 200 block of Easy Main Street. The theft occurred while the owners were home.
April 5
Burglary: A 71-year-old man reported his home was burglarized at the Park Royal Apartments while he was on vacation in Florida. He returned in late March to find that an anchor to a chain on the front door was broken. Reported missing were $80 in cash, a VCR, a 25-inch television and a brown wooden end table.
April 6
Drug paraphernalia: A 25-year-old man was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia after police found a gold pipe with suspected marijuana residue on it at West Main Street and Hunters Woods.
April 7
Identity theft: A 45-year-old Topaz Circle woman reported that Cingular wireless called her and advised her that four phones were ordered under her name and sent to Detroit, Mich. She told police she did not order the phones .
April 8
Criminal mischief: An apartment owner in the 4000 block of Fairground Boulevard reported that the door to his apartment had been damaged although there was no apparent entry made into the dwelling.
Theft: A locker at Canfield High School was broken into and $80 in cash, some personal papers, photos and an Ohio Driver's License were stolen from a 16-year-old student.
April 9
Marijuana: A 25-year-old Struthers man was arrested on charges of drug abuse and obtaining and possessing drugs after police arrested him at West Main Street and Palmyra Road and found a plastic bag containing suspected marijuana.
April 10
Drug paraphernalia: A 47-year-old Salem man was arrested on charges of drug abuse and obtaining and possessing drug paraphernalia after police found a plastic bag containing three marijuana cigarettes, rolling papers and about 26 roaches in his vehicle.
