Help sought for cleanup of Buhl Farm Park

HERMITAGE, Pa. -- Buhl Farm Park is seeking volunteers and sponsors for the community cleanup at Buhl Farm Park as part of the Great Pennsylvania Cleanup on April 23.
The cleanup will take place from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Volunteers will meet at the casino, and refreshments will be served.
The Great Pennsylvania Cleanup is a statewide cleanup campaign involving local and state government, businesses, waste haulers and environmental and civic groups. The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection and the Department of Transportation, in cooperation with Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful Inc., are sponsoring the Great Pennsylvania Cleanup.
Individuals, scouting groups and environmental clubs are invited to join the effort. Gloves, trash bags and safety equipment will be provided. Buhl Farm Park is also looking for local businesses to support the cleanup by providing refreshments or other supplies.
