MAHONING COUNTY Man in jail on 6 counts after three car crashes

All of the incident happened within a four-hour span.
YOUNGSTOWN -- A Campbell man is in Mahoning County jail on charges accusing him of being involved in three auto crashes in less than four hours Monday.
Brendan S. Moorer, 25, of Robinson Road, was arraigned Tuesday morning on six charges: receiving stolen property, two counts of driving under suspension, speeding, failure to control and failure to stop.
According to Youngstown Police Departments reports, Moorer's first accident occurred around 10 a.m. Monday when he rear-ended a car at South and Dixon streets. He backed up, then pulled out and struck another car within minutes, reports said.
He was charged with driving under suspension and failure to stop at the scene of the second accident, Sgt. Richard Hart said.
Around 1:50 p.m., police responded to a call for another crash, also on South Avenue. At the scene, they found a 1992 Buick Century wrapped around a telephone pole. The officer at the scene said Moorer was injured and walking away from the when he arrived, according to reports.
Moorer said he was walking away to get help, reports said.
Moorer was treated at St. Elizabeth Boardman Campus.
