k NEXT MONDAY is the deadline for Ohioans and Pennsylvanians to register to vote. You must register if you haven't voted in the past two presidential elections or if you've moved since last voting.
k EXTENDED HOURS: County boards of elections in Ohio will be open until 9 p.m. Oct. 4 for registrations. In Pennsylvania, election bureaus in Mercer and Lawrence counties will remain open until 4:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. respectively that day.
