ASSOCIATIONS
XBoardman Civic Association wil hold its quarterly dinner meeting at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 15 at the Community Center in Boardman Township Park. Guest speaker will be state Rep. Kenneth Carano, who will answer questions and address issues of interest. Cost is $9, and reservations may be made by calling (330) 726-9736.
XYoungstown Branch of the American Association of University Women will meet at 10 a.m. Nov. 6 in the gathering room at Park Vista. Dr. Linda Cooper, neonatologist, will speak about "Spirituality and Modern Medicine." Hostesses will be Mary Allgood, Mary Ann Allgood and Marguerite DeMart. All college graduates are welcome. CLUBS
XWarren Women's Connection will have a "Country Fair Auction" breakfast buffet at 9:30 a.m. Nov. 8 at Aulizio's Banquet Center, 4395 Youngstown-Warren Raod. There will be a silent and live auction, crafts, baked goods and home-canned foods. The speaker will be Jeanne Hungerman. The cost is $10. XYoungstown Magic Club will hold a "Nite of Magic" dinner and show Nov. 6 at First United Methodist Church, 309 N. Park Ave., Warren. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. followed by the show at 7:15. XYoungstown South Christian Women's Club will hold a "Thanksgiving Bounty" luncheon from noon to 1:45 p.m. Nov. 11 at Antone's Banquet Centre in Boardman. XYoungstown Women's Connection will sponsor a Patriotic Luncheon on Nov. 9 at the Italian-American Veterans Centre in Youngstown. On the program will be Debbie Feke, Rod Coonce and Larry Morrow.
