Summary of police activity in the city of Canfield and Austintown:
CANFIELD
Oct. 20:
Drug paraphernalia: An 18-year-old Youngstown man was arrested during a traffic stop on East Main Street and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Police also found a gold bowl with suspected marijuana residue.
Oct. 22
Drug paraphernalia: Two Austintown Fitch male students were arrested at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center, 7300 Palmyra Road. They were both charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Both the 16- and 17-year-old males were also charged with selling liquor to minors.
Oct. 22
Drug paraphernalia: A 17-year-old male student at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center was arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. Police found a suspected glass crack pipe in his possession.
AUSTINTOWN
Oct. 18
Theft from auto: A stereo, amplifier and speakers were stolen from an auto in the 4000 block of Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damage: A vehicle was damaged in the 5000 block of Seventy-Six Drive.
Theft: Food was taken from Inner Circle Pizza, 4520 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damaging: A suspect was accused of damaging vehicle tires in the 70 block of South Raccoon Road.
Theft: Computer games were taken from the 4000 block of Woodhurst Drive.
Theft from auto: An AM-FM/compact-disc player was stolen from a vehicle at BW3, 6000 Mahoning Ave.
Oct. 19
Drug offense: A man from Struthers was arrested on charges of drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia at South Meridian Road and state Route 46.
Theft from autos: A window was broken and a JVC compact-disc player and radio along with speakers, 40 compact discs and a case were taken from autos at All Tune and Lube, 4801 1/2 Mahoning Ave.
Theft from auto: A Kenwood AM-FM/CD player and speakers were stolen from an auto after its window was broken out at EconoLodge, 5442 Seventy-Six Drive.
Theft from auto: A window was broken out of a vehicle at True 2 Form, 5461 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damage: A vehicle window was broken in the 2000 block of South Raccoon Road.
Theft from auto: A window was pried open in the 1000 block of South Raccoon Road.
Theft from auto: A window was broken in a vehicle in the 4000 block of Kirk Road.
Theft: A man was arrested on a theft charge at BP gas station, 3602 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damage: A vehicle tire and taillight were damaged on a vehicle in the 2000 block of Redgate Lane.

Property damage: Paint was chipped on a vehicle at Greenwood Chevrolet, 4695 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A Bush-Cheney political sign was stolen from the 100 block of South Raccoon Road.
Breaking and entering: A structure was broken into in the 2100 block of Penny Lane.
Drug offense: A man was arrested at Mahoning Avenue and South Raccoon Road on a drug abuse cocaine charge and placed in the county jail.
Theft from auto: A window was broken and an AM-FM/compact-disc player was stolen from a vehicle in the 400 block of South Raccoon Road.

Theft: A man was arrested on a theft charge at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A men's mountain bike was stolen from Handy Man Supply, 4351 Kirk Road.
Theft from auto: A compact-disc player, amplifier and speaker box were stolen from a residence in the 10 block of Idlewood Road.

Theft from auto: A compact-disc player was taken from a vehicle in the 1000 block of Compass West apartments.
Drug offense: A Youngstown man was placed in the county jail on charges of drug abuse cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia after being arrested in the 1000 block of Fountain Square apartments.
Theft from auto: Stereo equipment was taken from a vehicle in the 1000 block of Compass West apartments.
Criminal damage: Lawn damage was reported in the 1000 block of Lancaster Drive.
Criminal damage: A lawn pedestal and globe were damaged in the 10 block of Jamestown Court.
Tampering: Three coin machines were pried open at IGA, 4477 Mahoning Ave.
Theft from auto: A Pioneer disc player was stolen from a vehicle in the 4000 block of South Raccoon Road.
Burglary: Pills were taken from an apartment in the 100 block of North Meridian Road.
Theft: A man was accused of stealing at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave., and was placed in the county jail.

Theft: Gasoline was stolen from Shell True North, 4200 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A Kodak digital zoom camera with memory card was stolen from an apartment in the 400 block of South Raccoon Road.
