XBOARDMAN -- Mr. and Mrs. Alfred DeChurch, 805 Afton Ave., were the honored guests as their 50th wedding anniversary was celebrated during a family dinner party held May 15 at Johnny's Fine Food and Spirits.
Hosts for the event were the couple's children and their spouses, Alfred and Maria DeChurch of Boardman, and Robert and Carolyn DeChurch of Canfield. Five grandchildren complete the family circle.
The former Phyllis Sandora and Mr. DeChurch were married May 15, 1954, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Youngstown where they are members.
Mr. DeChurch retired in 1990 as a carpenter with Local 171.
Mrs. DeChurch was a secretary for Boardman Schools prior to retiring in 1995. She is a member of St. Monica Guild and the Mothers of the Crucifix Society.
