Pedalines feted at family dinner on anniversary

XYOUNGSTOWN -- The 60th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Pedaline, 2580 Skywae Drive, was celebrated during a family dinner party held March 27 at an area restaurant.
Hosts for the festivity were the couple's children and their spouses, Patti and Steve Gondol of North Jackson, Janet and Mike Murray of Canfield, and Joe Pedaline of Youngstown. There are seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren in the family.
The former Madelyn Hubert and Mr. Pedaline were united in marriage March 11, 1944, at Immaculate Conception Church in Durham, N.C. They are members of St. Christine Church and Boardman Chapter 4545, AARP.
Prior to retiring in 1988, Mrs. Pedaline was a teller at Dollar Bank in Liberty. She belongs to the East Garden Club and the Silver Dollar Gang.
Mr. Pedaline served with the U.S. Army during World War II. He retired in 2001 from his position as heating inspector with the City of Youngstown. He is a member of Staff Sgt. Arthur McGinnis VFW Post 8841 and the Knights of Columbus Father Gallagher Council 3144.
