XYOUNGSTOWN -- Thomas and Loretta Pugh, 2683 S. Schenley Ave., are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Kristen Pugh, 17785 Whitney Road, Strongsville, and Derek Weaver, son of Sandra Weaver, both of 25209 Fawn Drive, North Olmsted.
Miss Pugh, a front office manager with Residence Inn by Marriott, Cleveland Airport, Middleburg Heights, graduated from Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea with a bachelor's degree in broadcasting.
Mr. Weaver earned a bachelor's degree in international studies from Baldwin-Wallace, and is an entry writer with UPS Supply Chain Solutions in Middleburg Heights.
St. Michael Church in Canfield has been chosen by the couple for their open wedding at 2 p.m. Sept. 18. They will issue invitations for their evening reception at the Maronite Center in Youngstown.
