Beloved star dies: Anna Lee, the regal and gracious lady who portrayed Quartermaine matriarch Lila on "General Hospital" since 1978, died of pneumonia last month at the age of 91. A renowned theatrical and film actress before she arrived in the soap community, Lee was a favorite of both viewers and those who worked beside her. The show will air a tribute to honor her memory. Those who wish to honor Lee may donate to the Disabled Veterans of America, National Headquarters, 3725 Alexandria Pike, Cold Spring, Ky. 41076, or the Royal Oak Foundation, 26 Broadway, Suite 950, New York, N.Y. 10004.
Catch this: There will be a new Belle on "Days of Our Lives" in the near future. Kirsten Storms will be leaving her coveted role to become one of the stars of "Clubhouse," a drama set in the world of baseball that's been added to CBS's prime-time lineup. The search for a replacement is under way, and the story line involving Belle will continue without interruption.
Return set: Next month brings the return of Colleen Dion as Felicia Forrester on "Bold and Beautiful." All indications are that if Nick loses Brooke for good, Felicia will be around to help him pick up the pieces.
Wild weddings: June is known as the month for weddings, and SoapNet will showcase the many times daytime weddings didn't exactly go smoothly. "Wedding Interruptus" airs from 1-6 p.m. Saturday and features infamous nuptials such as Carrie's breaking up Sami and Austin's "I do's" on "Days of Our Lives" and Nora's rushing to prevent Bo and Lindsay from tying the knot on "One Life to Live." Jacklyn Zeman (Bobbie) and Kin Shriner (Scott) of "General Hospital" will also host a salute to memorable weddings.
