SARA DIMAUROJASON JOHNSTON
XLAS VEGAS -- The Venetian Resort Hotel and Casino was the setting July 3 for the 2:30 p.m. ceremony at which Sara Elizabeth DiMauro and Jason Daniel Johnston, both of Worthington, were united in marriage by the Rev. Mose Henney.
A postnuptial champagne brunch reception in honor of the couple was held July 17 at Julia's Bed and Breakfast in Hubbard.
The bride, a daughter of Meg DiMauro of Colorado and the late James DiMauro, is pursuing a degree in business finance at Otterbein College, Columbus.
Parents of the groom are John and Jacquelyn Johnston, 1841 Lancaster Drive, Youngstown. He graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and is general manager at Buffalo Wild Wings, Columbus.
The bride's strapless A-line gown of organza featured a beaded and embroidered bodice and a sweep train.
Claret gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Katrina Hodak, and the bridesmaids, Jamie DiMauro, a sister of the bride; Lisa Pressler; and Katherine Wheeler.
Ben Scholiton performed the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Dominic DiMauro, the bride's brother; Jeffrey Johnston, a brother of the groom; and Phil Albanese.
The couple live in Worthington.
