Matt Chaney, a senior at Ursuline High School, aced the 154-yard, No. 16 hole at Avalon South golf Course in Warren. Chaney, who was playing in Ursuline's Shamrock Classic, used an 8-iron. The shot was witnessed by Mark Butch.
Ron Bellino of Boardman aced the No. 16 hole on the North Course at Mill Creek. He used a 7-iron on the 159-yard hole. It was witnessed by Constantni Mariani, Nick Shirilla and Tom Lamb.
Gary Goodrick of Campbell aced the No. 11 hole at Yankee Run Golf Course in Brookfield. He used an 8-iron on the 165-yard hole.
Nancy Yonchak of Brookfield scored a hole-in-one on the No. 6 hole at Yankee Run Golf Course. She used a 9-iron on the 90-yard hole.
Jim Paul of Warren aced the No. 11 hole at Candywood Golf Course in Vienna. He used a 7-iron on the 153-yard hole. The shot was witnessed by John Fuda, Tony Fuda and Butch Rhodes.
William C. Heider of Boardman made an ace on the No. 7 hole on the South Course at Mill Creek. He used a 5-iron on the 169-yard hole, and it was witnessed by Kirk Hough and Eugene Hough.
Jared Patton of Columbiana aced the 180-yard, No. 6 hole using 4-iron at the Links at Firestone Farms.
Ron Travis of North Lima aced the 157-yard 11th hole using a 6-iron at the Links at Firestone Farms. Witnesses were Mark Kolmaicic, Jim Ischkum and Bob Hetrick.
Richard Walker of Youngstown aced the 129-yard, No. 11 hole using an 8-iron at Castle Hills in New Castle. Witnesses were: Tom Walker, Vince Santangelo and Dave Boos.
Sonny Pasco of Youngstown made ace on 211-yard 13th hole with a driver at New Castle Hills golf course. Witnesses were Mike Evans and Carroll Stanley.
Gary Persino of Vienna made ace on 165-yard, No. 14 hole, using 7 wood at Candywood. Gary Persino Jr. witnessed the shot.
Scott Morola of McDonald used an 8-iron to ace the 130-yard No. 5 hole at Donnybrook Golf Course. Kristina Petri witnessed the shot.
Joe Benish of Boardman, who is 88-years old, made a hole-in-one on the No. 4 hole at Valley Golf Club in Columbiana. He used a 5-wood on the 140-yard hole. Witnessing the shot were Jack Sommerlad, Bob Richardson, and John Beard.
Rosanne Thompson of Youngstown aced the 108-yard, No. 7 hole at Reserve Run Golf Course. She used a 9-wood. Witnesses were Tom Thompson, Bill Thompson and Ken Johnson.
