July 25
Theft/criminal damaging: A woman alleged a Warren man, 24, removed a stereo and took several compact discs from her vehicle. She also told police he damaged several CDs while she was at a residence in the 40 block of West Liberty Street.
July 26
Possible theft: A woman reported her son's wallet lost or stolen while he was at Jib Jab Hot Dog Shoppe, 313 S. State St.
July 27
Criminal mischief: A man in the 400 block of Dearborn Street reported someone drove a vehicle through his side yard.
LIBERTY
July 20
Auto theft: A 2004 Chevy Cavalier was stolen from the Liberty Plaza parking lot, 3551 Belmont Ave.
Arrest: After coming to the Liberty Police Department to have her vehicle released, a Warren woman, 43, was arrested on a felony warrant from North Carolina charging her with assault.
Theft: A man noticed the rear license plate had been removed from his car parked at his home in the 10 block of Norwich Drive.
Burglary: A man discovered someone entered his residence in the 1300 block of Virginia Trail through a rear sliding-glass door. A $150 pellet gun, a $120 Xbox system, $100 in cash and a wallet were taken.
July 21
Theft: Police arrested a 32-year-old Girard man on a theft charge after six boxes of condoms valued at $97.34 were taken from Rite Aid Pharmacy, 2704 Belmont Ave.
Possible theft: A woman in the 700 block of Tibbets-Wick Road reported her $175 cellular phone lost or stolen from her home.
Theft: A $6,000 motorcycle was reported missing from a carport in the 10 block of Holly Drive.
Vehicle theft/recovered property: Brookfield police recovered a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee after a man in the 3700 block of Logan Way reported someone broke into his garage and stole it.
Theft: An employee at Rite Aid Pharmacy alleged a woman, 23, and a man, 25, both from Youngstown, tried to leave without paying for 13 bottles of medication, two bottles of Tylenol, 10 packages of razors, a sensor and other items. The merchandise was valued at $418.67.
July 23
Theft: A Niles woman staying at the Quality Inn & amp; Suites, 4055 Belmont Ave., alleged a Warren man, 41, told her he had her husband's credit/debit card and that the man refused to return it.
Theft: Police cited a 27-year-old Niles man on a theft charge after four bottles of medications totaling $112 were stolen from Rite Aid Pharmacy.
July 24
Theft/recovered property: A Sugargrove, Pa., woman staying at the American Inn, 1600 Motor Inn Drive, told police someone entered her room and took her $100 cellular phone and two suitcases. Someone called police after finding the suitcases near the Liberty Plaza, and the property was returned to her.
July 26
Arrest: After stopping a car near Gypsy Lane and Fifth Avenue for having expired license plates, police arrested a 21-year-old Niles man. He was wanted on a warrant from Niles charging him with failure to appear in court on a charge of passing bad checks.
Arrest: After conducting a traffic stop on state Route 193, police charged a 51-year-old Youngstown man with failure to appear in court on a traffic charge, as well as on a charge of driving under suspension and two vehicle violations.
Theft: A woman in the 2900 block of Roosevelt Drive reported an $800 digital camera, a $300 digital camera and an $800, 17-inch flat-screen monitor delivered to her residence had been stolen off her front porch.
Theft: A man discovered a toolbox with various tools had been stolen from his pickup truck parked in the 5900 block of Belmont Avenue.
Criminal damaging: Several employees at Home Savings and Loan, 3500 Belmont Ave., reported a man in his early 20s tampered with an automated teller machine security camera. The man reportedly used an undetermined substance to coat its lens.
July 27
Theft: A man in his mid- to late 30s reportedly fled a Shell True North gas station, 3990 Belmont Ave., without paying for a 24-pack of beer.
HUBBARD
July 21
Criminal mischief: A woman in the 10 block of Highland Drive discovered someone pulled wiring from her vehicle's dashboard while she was at Michael's Place, 862 N. Main St.
Drug paraphernalia: A man in the 600 block of Scott Street called police after finding a bag of syringes, a metal rod and other possible drug paraphernalia near the entrance to Harding Park, 249 Roosevelt Drive.
Theft: A Hubbard woman, no age given, was arrested on a theft charge after several items were taken from Rite Aid Pharmacy, 147 W. Liberty St.
July 23
Arrest: A Hubbard woman surrendered to police and was arrested on a warrant charging her with failure to appear in court on a charge of passing bad checks.
Theft: An employee at Video Express, 230 N. Main St., reported someone rented several movie videos and failed to return them.
July 24
Possible criminal damaging: Police noticed a screen in front of Tony's Sandwich Shop, 778 N. Main St., had been cut.
Recovered property: Youngstown police recovered a vehicle (no description in report) after a woman in the 800 block of Johnny K Boulevard reported it stolen.
July 26
Attempted theft: A woman in the 800 block of Elmwood Drive reported someone tried to fraudulently obtain her checking account number.
