STEPHANIE STEPHANMARK PORTER
XYOUNGSTOWN -- Mark Christopher Porter and his bride, the former Stephanie Sue Stephan, both of 11102 Berlin Station Road, Berlin Center, honeymooned in Aruba after their wedding June 19 at St. Maron Church.
The Rev. Gary George officiated at the 3:30 p.m. ceremony, and the couple later were honored during a reception at Tippecanoe Country Club in Canfield.
The bride is a daughter of Yvonne and Doug Blegen, 985 Maebelle Drive, Westerville, and Stephan B. Stephan, 3791 Indian Run Drive, Canfield. The groom is a son of Susan Porter, 3746 Barber Drive, Canfield, and the late Donald E. Porter.
Mrs. Porter graduated from John Carroll University, University Heights, with a bachelor's degree and Cleveland State University with a degree in physical therapy. She is a physical therapist at Ohio Sports and Spine in Boardman.
Mr. Porter is general manager for Paper Boy Distributing in Berlin Center. He earned a bachelor's degree at Kent State University.
Crystals and pearls adorned the bride's satin gown complemented by a cathedral veil.
Honor attendant was Kristyn LoPresti Ryan, Rocky River, who wore a black dress. Flower girls were Kathyn Stephan, Rootstown, the bride's niece, and Jaime Kempe, Boardman, the groom's cousin.
Performing the duties of best man for his brother was Christopher Porter, Boardman. Ushers were Joseph Stephan, Rootstown, the bride's brother, and Robert Kempe, Boardman, the groom's uncle. Ring bearer was David J. Simon, Liberty, the bride's cousin.
