Web-slinger wobbles
Marvel Comics' "Spider-Man 2" was finally knocked out of first place at the box office by Will Smith's "I, Robot."
But cry no tears for Marvel. "Spider-Man 2" still managed $24 million in its third week, for more than $300 million overall ... so far. The "Spider-Man" movies, combined with the comics-related "Blade," "X-Men," "Daredevil, "Punisher," "Hulk" and "Men In Black" films, have made record profits for Marvel -- $152 million in 2003 -- an astounding turnaround for a company that declared bankruptcy in the late '90s.
