Annual Choffin Read-In
YOUNGSTOWN -- An African American Read-in will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Choffin Career and Technical Center, 200 E. Wood St.
The annual event is open to the community and sponsored by the Youngstown City School District's Student Advisory Council in recognition of Black History Month.
Pupils from various grade levels will present excerpts from black authors and their own works. Ode Aduma of WKBN-TV 27 and Kenneth King of WGFT-AM 1500 and WRPB-FM 102 also will participate.
