United Way '03 report
BOARDMAN -- The Youngstown/Mahoning Valley United Way's final 2003 campaign report is at 7:30 a.m. Feb. 10 at the Holiday Inn, 7410 South Ave. The organization will also kick off its 85th anniversary year at the buffet breakfast meeting.
The cost is $15 per person. Reservations are required by Feb. 3, and tables of eight are available. Make checks payable to the Youngstown/Mahoning Valley United Way and send to United Way, 255 Watt St., Youngstown, Ohio 44505. The ticket order should include the names of people and company name, including address.

Moving cars for plows
GIRARD -- The city's public service department reminds residents that cars parked on the street during the snow season need to be moved to allow city plows to remove the snow.
Cars left on the road during snow emergencies are subject to being ticketed and even towed. Citations are $10 for the first offense and $50 for the second.
Block watch to meet
YOUNGSTOWN -- The Know Your Neighbor Block Watch will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Jewish Community to have an election of officers. The block-watch boundaries are Fifth and Logan avenues and Tod and Gypsy lanes.
