Rangers 5, Panthers 2
NEW YORK -- Jaromir Jagr had a three-point night in his home debut for New York, setting up Brian Leetch's tie-breaking score and adding a third-period goal and assist. Petr Nedved, Mark Messier and Matthew Barnaby also scored to help the Rangers end a four-game losing streak and a six-game winless streak. Byron Ritchie and Kristian Huselius scored for Florida.
Red Wings 2, Stars 2
DALLAS -- Teppo Numminen beat Detroit goalie Manny Legace with 6:02 remaining in regulation. Legace, starting in place of Curtis Joseph, finished with 27 saves. He stopped two hard power-play shots just before allowing the game-tying goal. David Oliver also scored for the Stars. Tomas Holmstrom and Pavel Datsyuk scored for Detroit.
Wild 2, Kings 2
LOS ANGELES -- Luc Robitaille scored the tying goal on a power play late in the second period to help Los Angeles tie Minnesota, extending the Wild's road winless streak to 11 games. Jon Sim also scored for the Kings. Andrew Brunette set up power-play goals by Richard Park and Jim Dowd for Minnesota.
