COLUMBUS -- Kelly Mazzante scored 19 points to lead Penn State to its eighth straight win. Tanisha Wright added 16 points and Jess Brungo scored 12 for the Nittany Lions (15-3, 8-0 Big Ten), who improved to 15-0 when holding opponents below 70 points. Jessica Davenport led the Buckeyes (10-7, 2-4) with 17 points. Ohio State, ranked 17th at the start of the season, has fallen out of the Top 25 by losing five of six and three straight at Value City Arena -- after winning 24 straight at home.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- Tiffany Jackson had 15 points and 11 rebounds, and Heather Schreiber made the go-ahead free throw and a 3-pointer in the closing minutes. Texas (17-2, 5-1 Big 12) got off to a slow start against the Aggies (7-10, 0-6), who tied it at 56 with four minutes to play. Schreiber's free throw with 3:59 remaining put the Longhorns ahead to stay at 57-56 and her 3 just 30 seconds later made it 60-56. Aggies guard Toccara Williams became just the fourth player in NCAA history to have 1,000 points, 600 assists and 400 steals. She scored 24 points and had nine of A & amp;M's 16 steals.

LOS ANGELES -- Ebony Hoffman scored 16 points, including two free throws with 21 seconds remaining, to help Southern California rally. The Trojans (10-7, 7-2 Pac-10) overcame a 12-point deficit and outscored the Cardinal 23-8 in the final 8:41. Hoffman was the only Trojans player who scored in double figures, including a perfect 7-for-7 from the foul line. Nicole Powell led the Cardinal (15-3, 8-1) with 29 points, including 22 in the second half, and 12 rebounds.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Shereka Wright scored 22 points, including Purdue's first nine of the second half. Indiana led by five points early, stayed close to Purdue (16-2, 5-1 Big Ten) through the rest of the opening period and trailed 33-27 after two free throws by Jenny DeMuth at the start of the second half. But Wright scored and was fouled on Purdue's next two possessions, completing the three-point play both times for a 39-27 lead. Indiana (10-8, 3-4) came no closer than nine points after that.

MINNEAPOLIS -- Lindsay Bowen scored 18 points and Kelli Roehrig made the go-ahead basket with 19 seconds remaining. The loss spoiled a big game for Minnesota's Lindsay Whalen, who scored 27 points to become the school's career scoring leader with 2,123. Minnesota (15-3, 4-3 Big Ten) took a 69-68 lead on Whalen's basket with just over a minute remaining. She was fouled on the play but missed the free throw. Then Roehrig scored off a rebound to put the Spartans (14-4, 5-2) ahead 70-69, and Rene Haynes made two free throws with 4.6 seconds to go for the final margin.

ATHENS, Ga. -- Freshman Janese Hardrick scored a career-high 25 points to lead Georgia over LSU, ending the Tigers' 15-game winning streak. Christi Thomas added 20 points and Alexis Kendrick 15 for the Bulldogs (14-5, 3-3 Southeastern Conference), who snapped a three-game skid. LSU (16-3, 4-1 SEC) got 24 points from Seimone Augustus and 22 from Doneeka Hodges.

AMES, Iowa -- Veronica Johns-Richardson matched her career high with 16 points for Colorado. Iowa State (9-7, 2-3 Big 12) had upset then-No. 2 Texas Tech and 15th-ranked Oklahoma in its two previous home games but couldn't muster the offense to do it again. Colorado (16-2, 5-1) forced Iowa State into 21 turnovers and held the Cyclones to 7-for-23 shooting in building a 10-point halftime lead. The lead was never below five in the second half.

CHICAGO -- Khara Smith had 26 points and 14 rebounds, Charlene Smith added 22 points and DePaul forced 26 turnovers. DePaul (18-1, 6-0 Conference USA) outscored Tulane 60-24 in the second half after leading by just three at halftime. Charlene Smith also had nine rebounds and six assists, and Ashley Luke added 21 points and seven assists for the Blue Demons. Lakethia Hampton had 24 points and 11 rebounds for Tulane (7-11, 0-5).

FORT WORTH, Texas -- Sandora Irvin and Ebony Shaw each scored 19 points to lead Texas Christian. Irvin also grabbed 15 rebounds, setting a school career record with 778. Natasha Lacy added 10 points for the Frogs (15-3, 4-1 C-USA). Debbie Merrill scored 15 points and Valerie King had 11 for Cincinnati (10-10, 1-5).

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- Le'Coe Willingham scored 22 points as Auburn coach Joe Ciampi earned his 600th career victory. Natasha Brackett had 16 points for Auburn (15-4, 3-2 SEC), which earned its first win in Fayetteville since 2000. Nicole Louden and Marita Payne each added 10 points. Rochelle Vaughn scored 12 points for Arkansas (13-5, 2-3).

HOUSTON -- Jazz Covington scored a season-high 30 points to help Louisville snap the Cougars' 10-game winning streak. Sara Nord made two free throws with 34 seconds remaining to give the Cards (11-8, 3-3 C-USA) the lead, and Covington made one with 27 seconds to go for the final margin. Nicole Oliver's desperation 3-pointer hit the front of the rim with seven seconds remaining. Sancho Lyttle had 25 points, 15 rebounds and six steals for Houston (15-3, 4-1).
