Wright State edged by UIC



DAYTON (AP) -- Alex Kock made the game-winning shot with four seconds left to lead Wright State to a 61-60 victory over Illinois-Chicago on Wednesday night.
Wright State (9-8, 6-1 Horizon League) led Illinois-Chicago (12-7, 3-4) 34-25 at the half and was ahead 53-44 with 11:04 remaining when Illinois-Chicago went on a 12-2 run to move ahead of Wright State 56-55 at the 5:10 mark. DaShaun Wood put Wright State back in the lead with a jumper and Seth Doliboa added another jumper to put the Raiders ahead 59-56 with 2:58 remaining.
Cedrick Banks then hit a jumper and added a layup to put Illinois Chicago ahead 60-59 with 1:08 to go. Wright State missed its next three free throws before Kock made his game-winning shot in the final seconds.
Doliboa led scoring for Wright State with 17 points and Drew Burleson added 14.
Banks was the leading scorer for Illinois-Chicago with 16 points, and Aaron Carr scored 14.
