PHILADELPHIA -- Jose Theodore made 22 saves, and Richard Zednik scored two power-play goals to lead the Montreal Canadiens to a win over the Philadelphia Flyers. Jan Bulis and Michael Ryder also scored for the Canadiens, who won for the fourth time in five games (4-0-1). Theodore lost his shutout when Simon Gagne scored with 1:18 left. Before the game, the Flyers acquired defenseman Danny Markov from Carolina for right wing Justin Williams.
Senators 3, Hurricanes 1
RALEIGH, N.C. -- Marian Hossa had a goal and two assists to lift Ottawa past Carolina. Daniel Alfredsson added a power-play goal in the first period for the Senators, who pushed their unbeaten streak against the Hurricanes to 11 games. Ottawa has won 12 of 18 overall. Shaun Van Allen added an empty-net goal for the Senators.
Bruins 4, Rangers 1
NEW YORK -- Rookie center Carl Corazzini scored his first two NHL goals to lead Boston. Boston took a 2-0 lead at 17:34 of the second period on Jiri Slegr's fourth goal. Brian Rolston also scored for Boston, which swept the home-and-home series from New York that started Monday in Boston, by outscoring the Rangers 9-3. New York pulled within 2-1 at 1:21 of the third period on Brian Leetch's eighth goal.
Maple Leafs 2, Islanders 0
TORONTO -- Ed Belfour made 25 saves for his fifth shutout of the season. Mikael Renberg and Gary Roberts scored for the Maple Leafs, who are still first in the Eastern Conference with 61 points despite winning just two of six games. Belfour, rarely tested in the first two periods, recorded his 70th career shutout, three fewer that New Jersey's Martin Brodeur on the active list.
Thrashers 4, Sabres 1
ATLANTA -- Slava Kozlov scored two goals, and Pasi Nurminen turned away 24 shots, leading Atlanta over Buffalo. The Thrashers won their second in a row after enduring a nine-game winless streak that knocked the team out of first place in the Southeast Division. Buffalo, which got a goal from J.P. Dumont, lost its third straight.

EDMONTON, Alberta -- Scott Ferguson scored his first goal of the season, Raffi Torres had two goals, and Tommy Salo earned a shutout as Edmonton beat Dallas. Salo has allowed just five goals in six games. He made 16 saves to record his third shutout of the season, all in the last 11 days. He made a crucial stop on an unobstructed point shot by Sergei Zubov with under four minutes remaining.
Kings 4, Flames 1
LOS ANGELES -- Ian Laperriere scored two goals to snap a 29-game drought, and Derek Armstrong had a goal and an assist to help Los Angeles beat Calgary. Joe Corvo capped a three-goal first period with his third of the season and Trent Klatt had two assists for the Kings, who have won consecutive games for the first time since Dec. 4-6 after going 14 straight without a victory. Roman Cechmanek made 20 saves.
