Vocal group hall to getfunding from RIAA
SHARON, Pa. -- State Sen. Robert Robbins of Greenville, R-50th, brought some good financial news to the Vocal Group Hall of Fame & amp; Museum. Robbins, a strong supporter of the organization, said Thursday that the Recording Industry Association of America informed him that it is sending a $5,000 donation to help sponsor the hall's activities.
Robbins made his announcement at a meeting of local and state elected officials and promotional agencies gathered to discuss how they can support the hall of fame. Mercer County, Sharon, Farrell, Hermitage, Sharpsville and Wheatland were represented.
