CANFIELD
Feb. 16
Purse found: A Youngstown woman who reported her purse stolen from Evelyn's Restaurant on U.S. Route 224 in January was notified by police that the purse was found in a box on Fairground Boulevard with her cash and credit cards missing.
Feb. 18
Drug court: Police arrested a 19-year-old Saw Mill Run Road man at his home. The man was taken to Mahoning County Court in Canfield and sentenced to seven days in the Mahoning County jail for violation of Drug Court participation rules.
Feb. 21
Drug paraphernalia: A 37-year-old Deerfield woman was arrested during a traffic stop and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession and concealing after police found a suspected marijuana roach and a packet of rolling papers.
Drug abuse: A 48-year-old Hubbard man was arrested on charges of drug abuse, obtaining and possessing during a traffic stop on West Main Street. Police found a cellophane bag containing about half of a gram of cocaine.

Feb. 17
Theft from auto: A flashlight was stolen from a vehicle in the 3000 block of LeHarps Road.
Drug offense: Police arrested an Austintown woman in an apartment in the 30 block of Rhode Island Drive on a charge of possession of marijuana.
Feb. 18
Theft: A man was arrested on a theft charge at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damaging: A garage door was spray-painted in the 3000 block of Wynhaven Drive.
Theft from auto: A compact-disc player was taken from a vehicle parked on Kerrybrook Drive.
Feb. 19
Criminal damaging: Paint on a vehicle was damaged at the TA Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive.
Criminal damage: A vehicle window was broken in the 4000 block of Nantucket Drive.
Attempted auto theft: A key lock was damaged in the 100 block of Carnegie Avenue.
Theft from auto: A faceplate was taken from unlocked vehicle in the 4000 block of Mahoning Avenue.
Burglary: Tools were taken from a garage in the 3000 block of Sandalwood Drive.
Feb. 20
Theft from auto: A cell phone and coins were stolen from a vehicle at Pilot Oil, 1144 N. Niles-Canfield Road.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle window was broken by a BB gun in the 2000 block of Vollmer Drive.
Burglary: A door window was broken at a residence in the 100 block of North Niles-Canfield Road and Tylenol was taken.
Theft from auto: A rear license plate was stolen from a vehicle in the 4000 block of Burkey Road
Drug offense: Two Austintown men were arrested at North Meridian Road and Oakwood Avenue, one for possession of drug paraphernalia and the other on a warrant out of Newton Falls.
Criminal damage: Eggs were thrown at a vehicle in the 4000 block of Kirk Road.
Feb. 21
Theft from auto: A compact-disc player was stolen from a vehicle at Billiard's, 4213 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Seventeen candles were stolen by a woman at Cracker Barrel, 5600 Interstate Boulevard.
Burglary: A television and a DVD player were stolen from the 30 block of East Liberty Street.
Feb. 22
Criminal damage: A vehicle was dented in the 2000 block of South Raccoon Road.
