Q. It seems like remaking old films and TV shows is the happening thing now. I loved the TV shows "Square Pegs" and "ElectraWoman & amp; Dynagirl." Is it true that Sandra Bullock is going to take the Lynda Carter role in a new "Wonder Woman" film? What else can we expect? -- E.Q., Richardson, Texas
A. Despite Internet petition drives, Bullock has quashed rumors of a "Wonder Woman" movie in her future. And you'll have to settle for TV Land reruns of "Square Pegs" (Sarah Jessica Parker, 1982) and "ElectraWoman & amp; Dynagirl" (Deidre Hall, Judy Strangis, 1976). But there are plenty of TV remakes in the wings this year. Among them: On the big screen, Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson team as "Starsky & amp; Hutch" and Halle Berry stars as "Catwoman." Nicole Kidman is in a remake of "The Stepford Wives" and is signed to play Samantha in a "Bewitched" redo. On TV, Rob Lowe stars in a remake of "Salem's Lot" on TNT, and "The Jeffersons"' Sherman Hemsley has signed to voice the part of the talking horse in a new "Mister Ed" for Fox.
Q. We watch the reruns and new episodes of "7th Heaven." How long has this show been on? We see some episodes before the twins were born, and newer ones on The WB channel show them as growing boys. We enjoy the entire cast whether in the early segments or the newer ones. -- J. & amp; L., Boulder City, Nev.
A. The WB's top-rated series "7th Heaven" is in its eighth season and already has a commitment from The WB to return for the 2004-05 season. The family drama has gone through plenty of changes, starting off in 1996 with just five Camden kids -- played by Barry Watson, David Gallagher, Jessica Biel, Beverley Mitchell and MacKenzie Rosman. The twins (Lorenzo and Nikolas Brino) came along in 1999. Watson left the show in 2002 after being diagnosed with Hodgkin's disease. His cancer is reportedly in remission and he made a guest appearance in last month's "The Anniversary" episode.
Q. My wife and I loved the new series "Line of Fire." Hopefully it hasn't been taken off the air. If it is returning, please let us know. -- C.L., Fremont, Calif.
A. The nine-episodes series may have run its course on ABC. Besides mediocre ratings, "Line of Fire" drew the ire of "NYPD Blue" fans when it displaced "Blue" during December-January run. ABC won't announce its picks for the new season until later this spring, but it's unlikely "Line of Fire" will be on the list.
