XBOARDMAN -- Mr. and Mrs. James Cassidy of 7392 Eisenhower Drive will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary during an extended vacation in Las Vegas in the near future.
Mr. Cassidy and the former Janice Swimmer were married Feb. 12, 1954, at Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Youngstown.
Their family includes their children and their spouses, James and Shelley Cassidy of Youngstown, Timothy and Connie Cassidy of Girard, and Tracey and Ken Altman of New York City, as well as one grandchild.
Mrs. Cassidy worked at Youngstown Sheet & amp; Tube Co. until 1956 and later at Serex Services until retiring in 1997.
Her husband was self-employed as the owner of Public & amp; Royal TV in Youngstown, retiring in 1988.
