Vocal Hall gears up for kickoff of 2004 season

SHARON, Pa. -- The Vocal Group Hall of Fame officially resumes its regular hours one week from today, but it will kick off the 2004 season with a Valentine's Day Dinner/Dance Party first.
The event, which will feature music from local DJs and a buffet dinner, is set to begin at 6 p.m. Saturday in the Pop Music Building at 98 E. State St.
Tickets for the dance are $10 and tickets for the dinner are also $10. A cash bar will be available.
The evening will feature a fund-raising auction of the Columbia Theatre autographed shoes worn by the hall's inducted artists to create the Walk of Fame footprints in front of the West State Street theater.
The hall's regular hours are 4 to 8 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays and noon to 8 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
Admission is free, but visitors are asked to leave a donation.
