MELISSA SEFCIKDAVID HOLSTEAD
XYOUNGSTOWN -- The Rev. G. David Weikart officiated during a 2 p.m. ceremony Nov. 6 at St. Christine Church as Melissa A. Sefcik and David T. Holstead exchanged marriage vows.
The bride is a daughter of Virginia M. and John A. Sefcik, 3749 Sperone Court, Canfield, and the groom is a son of Diane and Charles Holstead of Seneca, S.C.
The couple left on a wedding trip to Barbados in the West Indies after a reception at Mr. Anthony's in Boardman.
They are living in Clarksville, Tenn. The groom is a captain in the U.S. Army stationed at Fort Campbell, Ky. Prior to her marriage, the bride was a paralegal with Kirkland and Ellis LLP in Chicago. They are graduates of Texas A & amp;M University in College Station, Texas. She received her bachelor's degree in political science, and he, a bachelor's in history.
Swarovski crystals trimmed the neckline, hemline and cathedral-length train of the bride's diamond white A-line gown fashioned with a sweetheart neckline and corset back.
Honor attendants for their sister were Jill and Julie Sefcik. Bridesmaids were Renee Fontenot, Alyce Metzroth, Lindsey Bates and Summer Crawford, cousin of the groom. They wore mocha gowns. Junior bridesmaids were Kimberly and Rachel Sefcik, the bride's cousins.
The groom's father served as best man, and groomsmen were Bill Boyd, Scott Holder, Al Flanagan, Ben McCall and Ray Hernan, the bride's uncle. Ushers were Capts. Roberto Bran and Will Arnold.
