Q: Will there be a new season of HBO's "The Wire"? When? -- C.S., Newport News, Va.
A: HBO's "Entourage" and "Six Feet Under" wrap up their seasons on Sept. 12, making room for the return of "The Wire" on Sept. 19. The gritty police drama's third season will feature new cast regulars Chad L. Coleman ("Brother to Brother"), Robert Wisdom ("Barbershop 2") and Glynn Turman ("The Bernie Mac Show"), as well as returning stars Dominic West and Lance Reddick. The show's first season will be released on DVD in October.
Q: I'm a big fan of the game show "Match Game." Please tell me about the host Gene Rayburn and the regulars Richard Dawson, Brett Somers, Charles Nelson Reilly. What are their ages, what are they up to, are they still alive? -- B.W., Las Vegas
A: Congenial "Match Game" host Gene Rayburn died in 1999, at the age of 81, from congestive heart failure. All the celebrity panelists are still around, though. Dawson, 71, took a break from showbiz to raise his daughter, born in 1991, and remains semi-retired. Somers, 80, tours with her one-woman show, "An Evening With Brett Somers." A longtime actor and director, Reilly, 73, also gets paid for his distinctive voice. Most recently, he was a guest voice (as the Dirty Bubble) on Nickelodeon's "SpongeBob SquarePants." "Match Game" reruns from the 1970s airing weeknights on GSN.
Q: Please tell me whether the three daughters on "Who Wants to Marry My Dad" live with their father. Also, they never say on the show what happened to the first wife/mother. Is the father divorced or widowed? -- F.B., Erie, Pa.
A: The twentysomething Okland daughters have all left the nest. Oldest daughter Jennifer lives in San Diego, Nicole in Hawaii and youngest sibling Brooke is in Colorado, but in a different town than her dad. Marty Okland, 47, divorced after 27 years of marriage but says he and his ex remain friends. He proposed to the "Who Wants to Marry My Dad" winner, Stacy Leutner of Ponder, Texas. And now that the show's over, we'll see whether they can actually work out that Colorado-Texas relationship.
