Human bones found are old, officials say

CORWIN, Ohio (AP) -- Human bones found by workers digging at the site of a planned residential subdivision may be century-old remains from a private graveyard, authorities said Tuesday.
A coroner concluded there was no evidence of a crime involving the remains, Warren County Sheriff's Department spokesman Capt. John Newsom said.
Officers said the bones -- most of a human skeleton -- were found Monday afternoon at a location just west of Caesar Creek State Park, about 35 miles northeast of Cincinnati.
The bones were taken to Dayton for examination by the Montgomery County coroner, who concluded that the remains were 80 to 100 years old, officials said.
There was no indication as to how the person died, Newsom said.
