XSTOW -- The engagement of Lisa Stephens, 4196 Benwood Drive, and Nicholas A. Wren, 2875 Graham Road, is being announced by their parents.
The bride-elect is a daughter of Burke and Lydia Stephens of the Benwood Drive address. Parents of the prospective groom are Don and Becki Kollar, 3889 Meander Drive, Mineral Ridge.
Miss Stephens is attending the University of Akron and will graduate in December with a bachelor's degree in education.
Mr. Wren is the director of parks and recreation for the city of Stow. He earned a bachelor's degree in business at the University of Akron.
The couple will be married during a ceremony at 6 p.m. Oct. 23 at St. Bernard Church in Akron. A reception will follow at the Hilton Hotel in Fairlawn. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and reception.
