Renovations: Finishing work on an $8 million construction project at the high school-middle school will delay the start of school one week. The work includes new fire alarm and sprinkler systems and central air conditioning and the addition of eight high-school and three middle-school classrooms.
HEARTLAND CHRISTIAN, COLUMBIANA
Renovations: Installed new carpeting, new windows and a new gymnasium floor.
LEETONIA
Renovations: Work on $2.5 million athletic complex is nearing completion.
LISBON
Renovations: Work has started on $13.5 million improvement project.
ROBERT BYCROFT
Renovations: New sensory garden built to offer tactile and sensory experiences that help determine how students learn.
SOUTHERN
Renovations: District starts first full year under new $14.3 million kindergarten-through-12th grade building.
UNITED
Administrator: Thomas Davis, superintendent.
Renovations: Five new kindergarten classrooms completed for just over $1 million. The rooms were added to the west side of the elementary wing of the district's school complex.
Curriculum: Offering all-day kindergarten.
WELLSVILLE
