XMASURY -- The Rev. John Lody heard the exchange of marriage vows between Jordan Mary Fonagy and Brian Douglas Yersky, both of 3976 Spyglass Drive, Columbus, during a ceremony at 1:30 p.m. July 10 at St. Bernadette Church.
The daughter of Dr. Joseph and Susan Fonagy, 7175 Wildwood Drive, Brookfield, and the son of Dell and Pam Yersky, 7940 Service Ave., received guests during a reception at Yankee Lake Ballroom, Brookfield.
The bride's sister, Amber Pickard, was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Sara Yersky, the groom's sister; Joeli Brest, her cousin; Lisa Heasley, his cousin; and Melissa Younkins, Jennifer Creed, Jennifer Grossi, Nancy Hanna and Maria Wright. They wore turquoise dresses. The bride's cousin, Josephina Szmanda, was flower girl.
Serving as best man was Spike Bayus. Groomsmen were Chad Fonagy, the bride's brother; Chuck Pickard, her brother-in-law; Mike Heasley, the groom's cousin; David Brest, her cousin; and Jason Sanata, Chris Saloom, Chris Miner and Mike Reiser. The bride's brother, J.J. Fonagy, was an usher, and ring bearer was the groom's cousin, Jimmy Goske.
Since returning from a honeymoon to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple live in Columbus.
Mrs. Yersky graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in biology. She is a dental student.
A self-employed carpenter, Mr. Yersky attended YSU.
