Tod Children's Hospital golf classic set for May 17

The event has raised more than $1 million since it began in 1984.
CANFIELD -- Tod Children's Hospital's 21st annual golf classic is scheduled for May 17 at Tippecanoe Country Club.
The event will feature a two best balls of four format with full handicap. The fee for the 1 p.m. shotgun start is $200 per golfer and includes 18 holes of golf, cart, greens fees, lunch buffet, hors d'oeuvres, an embroidered pullover, dinner and awards. An auction also will take place during dinner.
Background
Since it began in 1984, the golf classic has earned more than $1 million. Proceeds help make possible the purchase of equipment and support of programs for pediatric care.
