The "they" in "Wes Craven Presents: They" (8:30 p.m., Showtime) seem to be childhood fears that come true later in life, to the misfortune of a psychology student (Laura Regan) and her friends. This is one of those horror movies where Craven lends his name to the work of others, leaving fans to debate whether it's worthy of him.
"Iron Chef America" (9 p.m., Food Network), a new series of battles, will be shown through Sunday, with the first one immediately following this preview. New to the competition are "American Iron Chefs" Wolfgang Puck, Mario Batali and Bobby Flay, while Masaharu Morimoto and Hiroyuki Sakai are the returning veterans.
When Craniac and Skrawl create a robotic Rudy, mayhem ensues on "Chalk Zone" (9:30 p.m., Nickelodeon).
Plitvice Lakes National Park and World Heritage Site in Croatia is Europe's oldest national park. It's also the setting for the "Nature" series program "Land of the Falling Lakes" (10 p.m., PBS Channels 45 & amp; 49).
