AUCTIONS
XA Chinese auction will be held at St. John Social Hall, Reeves Road, Warren, at 3 p.m. Sunday as a benefit for Holy Trinity Orthodox Christian Academy. There will be free coffee and dessert with admission. Refreshments will be available.
BINGO/CARD PARTIES
XThe Altar and Rosary Society of St. Pius X Church will sponsor a card party at 2 p.m. Sunday at the church social hall, 1401 Moncrest N.W., Warren. The event will feature a salad bar, special raffle, 50-50 drawing and door prizes. First prize will be two mystery tour tickets for May 6. The cost is $5 at the door. BOOK SALES
XCampbell Friends of the Library will hold its annual book sale from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at the library, 374 Sanderson Ave., Campbell.

FUND-RAISERS
XThe third annual Derby Day at the Races will be sponsored from 4 to 9 p.m. May 1 by the F.H. Buhl Club at the Shriners' picnic grounds, Lamor Road, Hermitage, Pa. The cost is $10 and includes refreshments and food. Horses may be sponsored for $10. All proceeds benefit the Capital Improvement Fund at the club. XRodef Sholom Sisterhood will hold a Donor Luncheon at noon May 11 at Strouss Hall in the temple, 1119 Elm St. Following the groumet lunch James McClellan will present a one-man show featuring musical selections he has performed in the past 16 years. XScleroderma Foundation will hold a "Bowl Over Scleroderma" fund-raiser at Boardman Lanes, 7524 Market St., from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday. The donation for three games is $10. It can cause thickening and tightening of skin as well as damage to internal organs.
SALES
XGibson Heights Second United Presbyterian Church, 755 E. Dewey Ave., will hold a rummage sale from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday Baked goods and lunch will be available.
XMen's Garden Club of Youngstown will hold a flower sale to benefit its civic projects. Flats of 36 plants will be available for $9 each in the following varieties: begonias, impatiens, petunias, marigolds, dusty miller and ageratums. Six-pack plants will be $1.75 each. XA rummage sale will be held by the VFW Post 5532 Auxiliary from 9 a.m. 5 p.m. Friday with bargain day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the post, 575 S. County Line Road, Washingtonville.
